Georga Gorrell is a British Psychotherapist MNCPS (Acc.) specialising in fertility counselling and trauma. Her work sits at the intersection of emotional depth, psychological complexity and the mind–body connection.
Approach
Georga works in a warm, attuned and relational way. She is interested in how people understand their inner world, and how they cope when life becomes overwhelming or emotionally demanding. Her work focuses on the feelings, patterns and histories that arise during difficult times, helping clients explore the meaning of their experiences at a pace that feels manageable. Her sessions offer space to slow down, feel supported and move through these moments with greater clarity and care.
Areas of Practice
Georga works with individuals and couples through experiences such as trying to conceive, IVF, IUI, ICSI, miscarriage, pregnancy loss, donor conception, implications counselling, solo parenthood decisions and the pressures these experiences place on identity and relationships. She also works with developmental and relational trauma, attachment patterns, emotional disconnection, grief, loss and the effects these themes have on how a person relates to themselves and others. Her practice collaborates with leading fertility clinics and reproductive specialists across the UK.
Background
Georga’s professional training includes specialist fertility counselling with the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA), postgraduate study in psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), and advanced qualifications in counselling and psychotherapy. She is an Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society with over 1,000 clinical hours.
Private Practice & Writing
Georga is the therapist behind Fertility Counselling, a practice dedicated to supporting clients through complex emotional experiences with depth and care. Alongside her therapeutic work, she writes about trauma, fertility, attachment, depth psychology, identity and the internal shifts that occur during significant life transitions.
